Timetable
Untis is the worldwide leading school scheduling software which is used at more than 17.000 schools in more than 25 languages. The core of the program is an algorithm which creates the timetable automatically. A wizard supports you and leads you step by step through the whole procedure of entering data, creating and displaying the timetable.
Master Data
You define in Untis the number of school days per week. Then you enter the teachers, classes, rooms and subjects that are available. A wizard is supporting you all the way.
Lessons
Define which teacher is teaching which subject in which class. Assign as many elements as you wish to one lesson. The lessons can be displayed from the point of view of classes, teachers, rooms or subjects.
Availabilities
Madame Curie shall have certain times off. If possible, the first periods (she lives far away from school), but the periods 2-4 should be filled with lessons. On Fridays she is teaching at another school so she is simply not available, under no circumstances. Additionally she has any one afternoon off.
Optimizing
The timetable is completed; however, you want to edit a few plans manually.
Untis offers a broad variety of possibilities to alter the timetable manually.
Or maybe you just want to change the room allocation. Additionally you can lock
specific lesson before optimisation. Thus you make sure that the algorithm does
not move these certain periods.
Timetable
After you have completed your timetable you can select one out of many
predefined timetable formats. In needed, you can define, edit and adjust
your very own formats to display exactly the information you wish.
